The Forerunner & THE WORD

“In the Scriptures, God calls John his messenger and says, ‘I am sending my messenger ahead of you to get things ready for you.’ No one ever born on this earth is greater than John. But whoever is least important in God's kingdom is greater than John.”      Luke 7:27 ,28 (CEV)

John the Baptist was unique- rugged, strong, yet humble.  He is the first evangelist of whom we read in the New Testament.  He not only prepared the way for the Lord, but we can learn from him to do the same good work.
