Ragged Relationship
or Harmony ?
“So, you see, it is impossible to please God without faith. Anyone who wants to come to him must believe that there is a God and that he rewards those who sincerely seek him.”     Hebrews 11:6 (NLT)

A ragged spiritual relationship with God is a result when we fail to allow the Lord to be in on our plans and actions.  As in word processing, there are ragged, uneven, and unjustified margins which need to be corrected.  To be “justified” is what is needed to bring our lives into a right (centered) relationship with God.  But, can we do it ourselves?

Read Romans 5:1-10
v.1,2,8  I.  Justification;  It Is A Gift To Be Received
            John
1:12   to those who receive Him...
John. 3:17   God sent His Son not to condemn, but...

v.9-11  II.  Brings Us Into A Right Relationship With God
Because of the blood of Christ, we are bought and made free from the punishment of sin. And because of His blood, our sins are forgiven. His loving-favor to us is so rich.”      Ephesians 1:7 (NLV)

Since we have been justified by His precious blood, we have been:
1)  saved from God’s wrath,
2) we are reconciled to Him,
3) we have peace with God,
4) we have direct access to God

“We throw open our doors to God and discover at the same moment that he has already thrown open his door to us. We find ourselves standing where we always hoped we might stand—out in the wide open spaces of God's grace and glory, standing tall and shouting our praise.”      Romans 5:2 (Msg)

             III.  Feeling Is Not Faith
But we are citizens of heaven. Christ, the One Who saves from the punishment of sin, will be coming down from heaven again. We are waiting for Him to return. 21. He will change these bodies of ours of the earth and make them new. He will make them like His body of shining-greatness. He has the power to do this because He can make all things obey Him.        Philippians 3:20 ,21 (NLV)

“If we have become one with Christ in His death, we will be one with Him in being raised from the dead to new life.  6. We know that our old life, our old sinful self, was nailed to the cross with Christ. And so the power of sin that held us was destroyed. Sin is no longer our boss.”      Romans 6:5,6 (NLV)

Justification means that He has Already  done it for you on the cross!
