Ragged
Relationship A
ragged spiritual relationship with God is a result when we fail to allow the
Lord to be in on our plans and actions. As
in word processing, there are ragged, uneven, and unjustified margins which need
to be corrected. To be
“justified” is what is needed to bring our lives into a right (centered)
relationship with God. But, can we
do it ourselves? Read
Romans 5:1-10 v.9-11
II. Brings Us Into A Right Relationship With God Since we have been justified by His
precious blood, we have been: “We throw open our doors to God and discover
at the same moment that he has already thrown open his door to us. We find
ourselves standing where we always hoped we might stand—out in the wide open
spaces of God's grace and glory, standing tall and shouting our praise.”
Romans 5:2 (Msg)
III. Feeling Is Not Faith “If we have become one with Christ in His
death, we will be one with Him in being raised from the dead to new life. 6.
We know that our old life, our old sinful self, was nailed to the cross with
Christ. And so the power of sin that held us was destroyed. Sin is no longer our
boss.” Romans
6:5,6 (NLV) Justification means that He has Already done it for you on the cross!
